Place of birth

This is what's been given as place of birth for my gg-grandmother on the 1901 Census. Been transcribed as Golwell on Ancestry but can't find anything that matches Golwell in London on Google - closest is Goldwell Road in Croydon. Can't find a birth for her on FreeBMD that would match either.

Is it goswell ?  Goswell Road is I think in the Clerkenwell/St Lukes area.

What was your gt-gran's name please ?

Looks to me like a "London St Goswall", but that doesn't seem to exist . . . maybe a spelling mistake?

A little more detail (name, etc) might help pin it down . . .

I always thought her name was Georgina (nee Harrison), but she's shown here aged 35 as Georgiana, living in Gateshead with her husband Thomas Brennan (38) and their children Thomas W (14), Sarah A (10), David H (8), William S (5), Robert (3) and John (2).

In the 1891, she's down as being b. London, Surrey (  RG12/4182/109/22) so not sure about Clerkenwell

The 1881 has a Georgina Harrison b1865 St Lukes living in Gateshead with her parents George & Ann.
