Nottingham's General Cemetery
« on: Monday 21 September 09 17:09 BST (UK) »
Hello all,
we are trying to locate the whereabouts of a grave in this cemetery. we sent a cheque to the council for their help as we have spent hours trying to find it, but it was sent back saying they can't help.  A transfer of records for the cemetery has just taken place and nobody at Wilford Hill knows where any of the graves are.
We are trying to find grave 20.119 which has our greatgrandmother Elizabeth Booth in it who died in 1909. Do any of you lovely people have any idea which part of the graveyard to look in ???
Thank you for any help
Ann

Hi Ann, I don't know if you are still looking or found long ago but you can find the map for a very small fee at:

Kind regards

Hi Angelo

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

You've actually posted on a topic started in 2009 with one reply in 2010 which sadly wasn't responded to.

I can only hope that someone stumbles across your post in the future via an internet search engine and finds the information useful.

Dawn
