Bearing in mind that Arthur's first wife died at Stawell and as a railway employee Arthur may have moved his place of employment frequently.

Arthur Lambie, of Murtoa, was charged at the Police Court on Wednesday day last with being in possession of military clothing-namely, an overcoat.
He stated in his defence that he was ignorant of the fact that it was against I the law to have military clothing in his possession. He was fined £3.
