1861 & 1871 census - Shipston-on-Stour
« on: Monday 21 September 09 20:42 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Could anybody please check the 1861 and 1871 for Shipston-on-Stour for:-

Thomas Hall and his wife Elizabeth (formerly Jeffs).

Thomas was born in Warwickshire in about 1830, and married Elizabeth Jeffs in Shipston in 1853.

There is a possibility that Thomas died in 1860, but I think that his last child was born in about 1866.

I don't know the names of his children, but am hoping that the census may give them.

Thanks in advance,

Darin.

Hi Darin

Shipston on Stour is listed as Worcestershire in 1861 & 1871.  But no Thomas or Elizabeth listed

Do you have any more information from the marriage?

Linda

Pam - could you please give the census reference when you list something like this.  Makes it easier for the rest of us  :D :D
MOXHAM/MOXAM - Wiltshire & Surrey
SKEATS - Surrey
BRETT - Kent & County Durham
and

Hi,

Thanks for the details.

I will ask my cousin (who's family it is for) and see if he thinks that this is the right family.

Thanks,

Darin.
