Andrew Barry/Barrie, Forfar Angus 1700's

Hello there,

Hoping someone can help...I'm stuck!!!   Have located the death entry for my
4th grt Grandmother on Scotlands People, ..Janet Brown Nee Barrie/Barry.  Says her father is Andrew Brown Master Mason and Barbara Kavan?  Janet died 1872, at 82yrs...when I query on the LDS International Genealogy Index for Janet Barrie b. 1790 get a hit for a Janet Barrie in Forfar (she Married Alexander Brown in Forfar in 1818)... the parents are listed as Andrew Barrie and Barbara Cownie? Can anyone offer any insight/suggestions???  Seems too coincidental that the first names are the same....  Hope you have some insight....
