If sks has access to the census' please would they try and find:

Thomas and Sarah Whittager who were in Strabane, Raphoe.

Children were William James and Matilda Catherine.

and

William John and Sarah Whittaker who were in Strabane - Plumridge.

and

James and ... Whittaker whose children included Catherine and James - probably Taughboyne or Raphoe.

Also any Whittaker/Whittager etc., that come along in the same areas.  Many thanks.

Electoral rolls for Co. Donegal?
« Reply #19 on: Sunday 17 July 05 14:55 BST (UK) »
Does sks know if there were Electorial rolls taken from the 1800's to 1941?

Are they accessible to anyone or are they online?

Looking for any Whittaker/Whittagers in the Strabane and Co. Donegal areas areas up to 1941.  And Spence in Co Donegal (Milltown area in the 1800's)

If any one can help please?

Thanks

Hi Theresa
Iwas able to get a copy of my great grandfather's marriage certificate. He was married in Strabane. I can give you a contact number if you are interested.

Hi Theresa
I was in several C of I graveyards today, Donaghmore, Stranorlar and Convoy. I'm sure I saw Whittaker's in either Donaghmore or Stranorlar. I would be willing to go and have another look for you if you want to give me some details. Can't guarantee anything but will give it a go.

Hi - I have found a marriage of a Thomas Whittager (Whittaker) and Sarah Rutherford in St Johnston and wondered if anyone knows of any MI's for the graveyard or if anyone can look out for any gravestones with the surname of please?

It was in the parish of Taughboyne in 1866.

Many thanks

« Reply #25 on: Wednesday 07 September 05 10:10 BST (UK) »
Hi - can anyone help me in trying to find births/baptisms from the years 1840 to 1864 please?

Areas would probably include Beltony, Clonleigh, Sheercloon, Milltown, Stranorlar, Raphoe and Strabane.

Looking for the births of any Whitakers (sic)  but also

David, William and Barbara Whittaker
and
Eliza/beth Spence (possibly Milltown)

Thanks for any help.
