need help reading cencus
« on: Wednesday 30 September 09 23:44 BST (UK) »
hi, am trying to read the occupation of my gt gt gt grandfather on the 1891 cencus, am pretty new to all this and dont know how to refer to cencus records but if you enter Luke Raywood born Goole into the cencus on ancestry he comes up. (2 come up but they are father n son, at same address) any help working out his occupation will be great, on previous cencus he is a shipwright or general lab
thanx in advance little h

1881 Luke is a general labourer
1891 Luke has no occupation listed -instead it states "paralized 7 years"
