This could be a red herring, but 4th Qtr 1867 marriage at Halstead Essex, Charles John FISHER  vol 4a pg 679 - marriage either to EMILY Frances Sefton or to Jessie Way.....  I've not YET found a marriage for Charles Fisher to Emily O'Neill

I have been trying to locate the birth registration of my great grandfather Henry Herbert FISHER. I have looked on the NSW online index and he is not registered. Henry was born in Mudgee, New South Wales in about 1870 and his parents are Charles FISHER and Emily O'NEILL. .... According to family history Henry also was boxer and he fought under the name of "Henry MATTHEWS"...

Hi,
I have a Charles Henry FISHER born Broken hill NSW.
Carrier Alberton South Australia
died
June 29th 1904
His father Was THOMAS FISHER.
My GG-Grandmother was Mary Ann / MARION MATILDA TONKES nee FISHER.
Why I wrote 2 names for Marion, is that I have been to local Gene office and seen both names used. I have certificates showing only Marion Matilda used.
CHARLES FISHER was her brother.
Can anyone help me find anything at all about this family?
I know Marion was born Port Adelaide. She lived in King street Alberton, South Australia.

Trove nla has a Family notice  Adelaide Advertiser 22 june 1904 "death of Charles Henry Fisher, carrier, Alberton, son of Thomas Fisher and Mary Ryan Fisher, husband of Eleanor and brother of Mrs J E Tonks, aged 49yrs."
Interesting no chn mentioned.
