Rising Sun Pub, Larkhall Lane ?
« on: Sunday 09 July 06 06:55 BST (UK) »
Hello ,
Does anyone know if the Rising Sun pub in Larkhall Lane/ Courland Rd is still standing? Its a pub my grandparents used in the 1950's. Also, does anyone have any old photo's of Gaskell St SW4 before modernisation in 70's? please.
Regards
Alan Jones

Hello Annie,
Thank you very much for that. I had a look , found the pub in guide of 1944 , but not recently.
Thanks again

Hello,
Does anyone live in the Stockwell area ? If so I wondered if they walk or drive past the corner of Larkhall Lane and Courland St. There used to be a pub on that corner, I would love to know if its still there or what has replaced it please.
Regards
Alan

Is the first site what you were after? Otherwise, I don't live a million miles from Stockwell. I will try to pop up there sometime for you, unless someone beats me to it.
