Hi all  :)
I have a connection to George Bell and Ann Moss nee Livingstone.  Ann had a baby girl, Georgina Livingstone Moss with her first husband, George Moss.  She was pregnant when Moss died in Hamilton.  I think she sold up everything very quickly and moved to Harrow were one of her sisters lived.  Pretty sure Georgina was born there.
I didn't know George Bell and Ann married in Naracoorte.  Georgina lived with mother and stepfather.  Later she went to Brim (near Warraknabeal) to help look after her cousin Alan Livingstone Milbourne's children.  He was the son of Ann's oldest sister, Marion.
Four sisters came out with their widowed father Alan Livingstone, a blacksmith, from Lanarkshire, Scotland.
I have a photo of Georgina if you'd like to see her  :)
Marlene

PS my parents and grandmother stayed with some Bell relatives when they went to W.A. twenty years ago.  Not sure how they connect though!

A correction first  ::)  Ann Livingstone's first husband was John George Moss (not George Moss).

Georgina was known as Ena (and also Twig), and she lived on the farm my mother grew up on at Brim.  My mother's grandfather was Alan Livingstone Milbourne, Ena's first cousin.  Ena and her husband, Edward Bentley, lived in a cottage on the farm.

I have some filling in on my family tree to do with the excellent information from this thread.  So many thanks to all who contributed to it.  If I can help with Livingstone or other info please let me know  :)

Here is the photo of Georgina/Ena  :)

Thanks for sharing that photo Its so special to put faces to our research and so hard to come by. Ann Livingston remarried George Bell and had 8 more children. My direct line being son Charles Herbert Livingston Bell (half brother to Georgina L Moss)
Thanks again Regards Brenda

"The only two members of the family who do not reside here are Mrs. E. Davies, of N.S.W., and Mrs.E. Bentley, of Victoria, who both happened to be over here on a visit at the time of their father's demise.

I am off to Bullaring hopefully in a couple of months to see my older relatives and sort through photos. You are lucky to have some. My Uncle has a family Bible with entries of the children's birth.
