1911 De La Salle training college Waterford

I have tried in vain to find this place in 1911 census under the townland Newtown.  My grandfather was there several years but had left by 1911.  I thought of interest to see numbers and catchment area of 'inmates'.

Thanks for that = worked grand.  I see it as a community of over 200 'students' mostly in their late teens/twenties from all over Ireland.  My grandfather 'entered' as a school boy and left as a teacher at age 20 years.  I wonder were these ones continuing on to become teaching brothers of the order?

I often wonder did he leave prematurely.  In the 1911 census he is living in a household of Christian brother teachers and teaching in a local school in a different county.  Family lore is that it took enlistment in navy and WW1 for him to discover women!

There must be another institution for  the younger boys.
