Marriage look up(poss irregular)

Hi My grt,grt grandfather David Watt b1835 in Forfar Scotland married Isabella Patterson Bc1842 in Newcastle upon Tyne I can find not trace of their marriage.All their children were born in Sunderland any help would be  greatly appreciated.

Hi JJ

The 1871 Census for your couple shows two children born in Newcastle upon Tyne (let me know if you want the details).

Robert registered 1865 and Jane Ann registered 1862 according to online Newcastle Register Office.

There's no record of the marriage on the Newcastle online index but at least those births give you a rough idea for a marriage date.
