Hi Throth,
Many thanks for that information, I have added it to the family tree.
I know Robert's father was also Robert McNab, born in Dull 1857.M Christian Young.
Cheers,
Andrea  :)

Hi Andrea
I have only begun researching the McNab family tree.   My gg grandfather was Alexander McNab son of Alexander McNab (b. 1827) and my other records seem to slot in with your details.  Let me know if I can be of help - I would love to hear more of your details.
Regards Sarah

Hi Sarah...
Thanks for the message. Are you in the UK or Australia. I have Alexander McNab(Stone Mason) as coming out to Brisbane. His son Alexander was a Solicitor there. Is that the same information you have?
Cheers
Andrea

Wow - the internet is a fascinating place.  I really have a jumble of collated records from my grandmother so I will get it together and send it to you.  You may have all the info that I have...???
Sarah

Hi everyone!  Ive just found this post so hopefully some of you might still be active on here.  My 3rd great grandfather is Alexander McNab b1827 m Isabella Low and then her sister Jane Low after Isabella passed away.  I'm currently researching Alexanders father Robert Stewart McNab b1791 and his wife Isabella MacGlashen b1798.

If anyone has any information they'd be willing to share on either of these two....or any other related mcnab's for that matter it would be greatly appreciated.  Likewise im happy to share anything i have that may be of use to anyone....my line of descent goes Robert b1791 --> Alexander b1827 --> Alexander b1862 --> Arthur Bruce b1887 --> Alan John b1927 (my grandfather).

Sarah - seems like we come down the same line.  your ggrandmother Evelyn was my ggrandfather Arthur Bruce's sister.

Thanks
Beck  :)

Hi Jeks,
Are you in Brisbane?
I dont have the death certificate for any except my ggrandfather Thomas McNab...he seemed to be the youngest, brother to Alexander who arrived in Brisbane, and also Peter b. 1823 who went to NZ. and several others. Thomas was also named after another son who I think did..as he was born in 1840.
I had quite a bit of information I can pass on....
Cheers
