Uppingham Popple

Hi , we are tracing our family history, and while we have a lot of factual evidence about Popple's living in Leicestershire, Illston on the Hill, Goadby being notable.  The trail goes cold. we have a Thomas Popple  (B 1780, M 1802 D 1844) Married Jane Pateman (1780-1834)

William Popple is the Father We think was Born 1766 and was married to Sarah.  We have not confirmed yet, but we think William was from Uppingham

Any help appreciated.

   There is a Sarah Lane Birth on the IGI for 1754 but,it is submitted,still whoever submitted the marriage of William and Sarah got it right....
Ive looked for William in Leicester ....Zilch,and nothing in Rutland..
