if you have a subscription to ancestry there is a ancestry member who has submitted a correction to the 1841 census who could possibly help you in your research
if you do not have ancestry membership
i will get in contact with him and ask him to get in contact with you via e-mail
i would need to know your e-mail address to do this
if you want me to do this you would need to send me your e-mail address via the personal message system on rootschat

yes i have just joined ancestry, but up to now with not having much to go on with george i have not been able to look for connections, but now with what info you have given i may in the end be able to connect him to someone, and just have him there not really knowing the truth about him,i wish i had taken on this tree when i had older generations to ask.
thanks

Hi
You are the first person to reply and show that Lovetts live in Surrey.
They only info i have on George is that he was born in Surrey in either Mitchem or Croyden in about 1791, can not find his parents or any siblings we know that he married a French lady Clotilde no more info on her, they had two sons born in France in about 1823-26 then they must have returned to England because they had a daughter Clotilde born in 1827 in Surrey she only lived for a month then they must have moved to Hertfordshire because that is where the other children were born, and both George and Clotildes deaths are registered. From Hertfordshire we can trace the tree but nothing with regard to Surrey.
It is very frustrating not being able to find out more about George and Clotilde.
So if you find that George Is connected to your Lovetts i would be happy for any info you have.
