Thanks for the reply.  Just starting to research the HARVEYs.  My sister in law is a direct descendant of Benjamin and Lydia.

Hi JohnathanC,
I used to live in Warboys from 1966 until 1974. the coalman there was named Ezra Harvey, I can't remember his wife's name. i do remember that she walked with the aid of crutches.
I don't know if it's any help, might be a starting point.

hi - I realise this chain was sometime ago, but how did everyone get on with researching the Harveys of Warboys? I'm Dean Harvey - Benjamin Harvey was my Great Grandfather, his wife Lydia my Great Grandmother. I can certainly remember meeting Benjamin when I was very young. His son, Horace Harvey was my Grandfather. I have a number of photos of them, both as young people and in old age if you're interested? I also have a photos of Benjamin and Lydia's parents - now that's going back some!

Hi there - I wonder how people got on with researching the Harveys of Warboys. I'm John Shirley and Benjamin and Lyndia Harvey were my grandparents. Their youngest daughter Rosa was my mother ... and her brother Horace Harvey was the grandfather of Dean Harvey, who posted on this site in November. So hello Dean; I'm not sure which of my Harvey cousins was your dad (Melvyn? Mervyn? Brian?) but I think we must be second cousins at least once removed. I can never work this stuff. I have lots of material on this family, long established in Warboys, if anyone is interested.

Hi JonathanC - not sure if you're still researching the Harveys of Warboys. Benjamin and Lyndia Harvey were my grandparents. Their youngest daughter Rosa was my mother ... so I assume a direct relation on your sister-in-law (though the exact nature of all that eludes me). I have lots of material on this family, long established in Warboys. So email me if I can help. John Shirley

My 4x great grandmother was a Sarah Harvey/Hervey born about 1823 in Bury. Her father is given as William Hervey on her marriage certificate. That's all I know about her for now. Possible connection there?
