Hi!

Do any of you know if this C Cadle was an agent for, or sold Amanco stationary engines? I have such an engine, which I believe was bought new in 1908, with a badge on it which states ‘C Cadle, Engineer, Dublin’

hallmark,
thank you for both of those links, unfortunately the book is slightly out of my price range atm but now i know that it exists, i will keep my eyes open for  it elsewhere. also the pic of his grave, i am extremely grateful.
farrac,
i do know that he was The sole adjacent for William Furness & Co., Saw Mill Engineers, of Liverpool. and may well have been an agent for other firms also, though i haven't been able to confirm that yet.

Thank you for your reply. The engine I have was sold new in 1910. They were generally known as Amanco engines in Ireland, although their more official name was The Associated Manufacturers Company. If I do find out any more I will post it here. Kind regards
