Hi All

I know this is a long time since this post was made but I have recently discovered more about my real dad's ancestry which is linked into the family you are all discussing.

My great grandmother was Rachel Lowe, born 20th July 1894 and died in 1985. She gave birth to my grandfather in 1932 but as far as I know, never married his father. She went on to marry in 1943 to George McDowall who died in 1976.

Rachel's parents were Thomas Hamilton Lowe and Annie Forsyth.

There are also 3 other siblings that haven't already been mentioned. Rachel had a twin also named Thomas, who died aged 1 month. There was also James Lowe born in 1899 and Catherine Lowe born 1902.

I know names and dates, etc. but I don't know anything more so if anyone has anymore info that would give me an idea of who my great grandmother Rachel was, or even her parents, I'd be really grateful.

Regards

Hi Deb

Oh fantastic, do you have any pictures of her? Did you ever meet my grandfather? I never knew him and have never even seen what he looked like x
