Thankyou so much for the library information, I signed up today and they even allowed me to view with temporary membership. These newspaper articles are fascinating and I also managed to find Henry again regarding his fathers will and a big fall out with other family members.
I have spent hours today reading the pages of Derby Mercury 1800's my family nearly went without dinner!!!
Would you happen to know if there are any Staffordshire newspapers available for online viewing? ....... had a look with Lancs library services but could'nt find any here :( some folk are never satisfied!?!
Many thanks to you once again for putting this gem my way.
Kindest regards
Alyson

I knew you would find it fun, very addictive-as for Staffordshire papers I don't know of any. However, the Derby Mercury reported in Staffordshire, I found a BMD in Hednesford.
