On the Yorkshire bmd website Mary A Karnon married George Turner 1875 ref HD/30/489. Like you I tried her name in the births without success but on trawling through the various websites found that on one her name had been spelt Kearnon so tried Yorkshire BMD again and came up with this ref SUT/10/179. I haven't ordered any certificates to check this is the Mary I was looking for but the dates fit and on the census record (can't remember which website now) Mary A Kearnon's father was also called James. I might be making a false assumption that Mary A Kearnon and Mary A Karnon are the same person. I haven't had time to persue it further. Keep me posted with any further info if you can. Thanks.
