hey there, its funny I was just strolling through this web site and found this.. my name is Wesley young and I live in Adelaide south Australia.my fathers name is graham john young and my grandpas name was James john young born in 1904 near lossiemouth .he came here as a 7 year old on a ship either called the gellong or I cant remember the other name but do have the info in either 1910 or 1911 .i have info for you and pictures and the actual birth certificates of the marriage and births of all the bros and sis .anyways if you get this it would be great to talk to you and feed you info cause I think one of my cousins has done a family history and may be able to give you heaps of info aswell.hopefully talk to you soon ...... hi again, if anyone knows the person that placed this post could they please contact them and ask them to contact me. I have spoken to my dad and yes there were 9 and your g g  grandpa of the name of peter was my grandpas older brother. Peter married may and lived in broken hill south Australia.it would be fantastic to here from them as my grandpa had 13 sons and daughters and  u have a mass of rellies here in Australia. I have a:

Hi, you mention above that John Young married Margaret Edward or McQueen.  John Young was my 5th gr grandfather.  He married Margaret McQueen and they had the children you listed above.  Their son John who died in the Stotfield disaster was my 4th gr uncle.  He married Margaret Edward.  My line through Young/McQueen is Janet b 1770 who married William Crockett.  William also died in the Stotfield disaster.  I haven't been able to discover what happened to Janet Crockett nee Young.
