My Lincolnshire family: Cocking, Forward etc.
« on: Friday 01 January 10 23:49 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I am new to this forum, but have been trying for several years to piece together a family history.  My father, who will be 100 in February is a great resource, but I would interested in any information from anyone else who is researching the following families:

Cocking from Luddington, Barrow on Humber and Grimsby.
Forward from Grimsby, Hull and Cornwall
Ray, from Grimsby, Boston, London and Cork
Arber (Naval officers) from Plymouth and Leicster
Ranyard, from Sixhills, North Coates

Thanks.

John.

Yes, I think so.  The Forwards and Frymans seem to inter-marry.

Do you have a connection to this family?
