1841 census look up for DOUD/DOWD

Hi all

Can anyone look up these 2 people for me please?

They are James and Mary Doud/Dowd/O'Dowd, husband and wife, born in Ireland.
They are on the 1851 census and I would like to know if they were around in 1841 .

Looking at the details from the 1851 census I would say that they were still in Ireland in 1841.  Their eldest child, Edward, gives his birthplace as Ireland and he was born in 1845.  Perhaps they weren't even married in 1841.
I have had a look for them in 1841 but can't see anything that fits.  Is it Mary's maiden name you are looking for?  I notice their youngest child was born in 1851 in Derbyshire, so you could send for his birth certificate.

The only info is that of the 1851 census.
I have the birth cert for Patrick b1851.

I have Marys maiden name as Keenan.

I am well and truly stuck

Needless to say, I've got nowhere further with this rabble!!
