Gilt toy makers Birmingham 1840
« on: Tuesday 19 January 10 13:32 GMT (UK) »
Has anything been published about this industry ? Can anyone tell me if there are directories that cover workers in the industry for this period? I am researching an ancestor who was a gilt toy maker from at least 1815 - 1860 in the Fleet Street area. Grateful for any information.
