Marriage, 1876, in Montreal, of William Patterson son of John Patterson and Catherine Soutar! Huzzah! I've been looking for 3 years.

Somewhat unusual to find the parents listed.

Just one little problem....he's not marrying Eliza Campbell...he's marrying another Eliza. Brown.

But that's this evening's job

The Drouin collection at Ancestry Canada. Which I've been searching since the day it came on line, literally. It was probably always there, but not in the index.

No, but thanks for the offer!!! My rellies were mainly in Nova Scotia apart from some who emigrated from Ireland to Ontario then Quebec in the 1910s. I've got them to the 1930s but then I lose them. I think the Drouin finishes about then?

Into the 60s actually, although sparse by then. The 40s, more likely.

I'd be happy to give it a shot, and if it's a French entry I can read it, no problem

It would be a child baptised to Cornelius O'DRISCOLL who married T[h]eresa TRAGHEIM [or variations] on 5 Oct 1935 St Patrick's Montreal; he of St Thomas Aquinas parish, she of St Patrick's.

Also any marriage for Cornelius's siblings - Mary Ann O'DRISCOLL born 1905 & Edmund O'DRISCOLL born 1908.

I did post a request on the board in September

but still haven't found Cornelius' children if any or his siblings spouses.

Only O'Driscolls I can find are

1941 burial Edward O'Driscoll husband of Mary Hutchison, witnesses by Edmund and Cornelius

1941 marriage of Dennis O'Driscoll widower son of Daniel, to Beatrice McMillen

I have to go out for a while and I'll have another look later

Mary Ann, Edmund & Cornelius were all children of Jeremiah [born 1874 Clonakilty, Co Cork died ?] & Julia ALLEN born 1876 Hanstown Co Westmeath died 1930 Montreal. Julia was the sister of my grandmother.
