Thomas Conlon marries Anne Berry in Tubberclaire
« on: Thursday 28 January 10 14:15 GMT (UK) »
GG Grandfather Thomas Conlon married an Anne Berry in 1847. They had my Great grandfather Michael in 1850. He marries an Elizabeth Carty. Thomas and Anne both born about 1830 or earlier. Conlons and Berry marry into the Murrays, Nolans, Dooleys, Rush, McCann, Spollen, and Carty families in Westmeath. Any help is appreciated.

Hi My great great grandmother was Faith Berry from glassan toberclare area, she married a Mulvihill (dont know first name) her daughter Mary (Molly) Mulvihill who was my greatgrandmother married John Spollen and they lived directly across the road from the church in Toberclare. They raised 11 children including my grandmother Margaret "Peg" Spollen who emigrated to New York. The Spollen family still owns the cottage there. I was wondering if your Berry family is related to the Faith Berry I mentioned? I would guess she could have been a sister of your Anne Berry and lived in the area in the mid 1800's. Please let me know your thoughts and any Berry or Mulvihill info. you are aware of.
        Thanks,

Hello Jim! My father is also a Bob. He was related to the Spollens but never knew how! I am betting the Faith you mention is related to my Anne Berry! When is she born? I spoke to one of your Spollen relatives with the Mulvihill connection! Are you in US?

Hi Thanks for responding, I am in the US on Long island. I don't have any more information on Faith Berry except what I mentioned in my previous post, other than the fact that her daughter Molly Mulvihill was born around 1865 and died in 1916. I would guess based on that information she would have had to been born 1845 or earlier ? I thought maybe your Ann Berry might have been a sister or cousin ?
               Thanks for your help,

Hi Bob,
Yes John is a cousin, His father and my grandmother were brother and sister, My grandmother was Margaret Spollen (Moloney). The moderator removed your phone number so I cant call you. The reason I was asking about Faith Berry is because that is as far back as we have gotten. If you discover anything or I can help your research please let me know.
                                                 Thanks,
