The croft was 26 Griminish, which later became the local doctors' surgery. William Brebner Langwill was a distiller at one time in Dublin and the story of what in local terms is a rather fertile garden is that Irish soil was at one time brought in as ballast. The marriage to Penelope MacRury from Dunruadh in Torlum took place in Ayr. Annabella' marriage took place 24.8.1893 to Donald John MacLennan from the family that then as now had the store in Balivanich. The family in due course removed to Callander on the mainland.

Jessie b. Ayr c, 1860 emigrated to New York in 1897 and d. there as Mrs Ross. Annabella 1872-1939 was a student teacher in 1891 and died in Callander, Perthshire. Angelina 1877-15.11.1946 was b. Ireland, married name Colwyn, emigrated to Canada and died in Vancouver.

The MacRury line extended back via North Uist to an Alasdair born before 1600 in Trotternish, Isle of Skye. In Skye they were armourers to the MacDonalds of Sleat and also Bards. The rest of the line down to the present were blacksmiths.
