Searching Census By Address on Ancestry

Is there a way to search census returns by address or street on Ancestry (just typing in the street name)?

Only on the 1881 census.

Some of us do have street indexes for other towns/censuses.
Give the street name & vicinity & date

Ah right.  I was just going to have a nosy at who lived in certain buildings in my home town.  I recently got a book The Pictorial History of Maidenhead from the library and I thought it would be a great way to pass the afternoon.

Interesting to see who lived there.

Thanks for your reply

Hi

Looking for 7 Lotts Yard in Scarborough, North Yorkshire in the 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 censuses. (Sometimes appears as being St Thomas Street)

Would happily look myself if I could find ANY another property that falls in the same vicinity, but I can't.

Thanks in advance for any assistance that might be forthcoming. :)

I know this is an Ancestry search but, in the case of Lotts Yard, it would be best to switch to FindMyPast as it has an address search capability on the individual census pages (use A-Z for the record sets). Certainly appears on at least two census years.

Yes, tried that but certainly 1911 doesn't show any returns.
And I can't access any results there anyway as I don't have an account with them, hence the Ancestry request.
