Hi, I would appreciate any thoughts on what the surnames of the two witnesses William and John could be.  Thanks.

What a star!  I can quite clearly see the x at the end of Fox now, unfortunately I thought it was a t!

I think it says John X Fox his mark

I'd agree with 'Fox' and 'Tasker'. but what about the others? ???

Do you mean the other names David?  If so I can read them, but for some reason I got myself in a pickle over the two witnesses surnames.

In case you are interested the marriage entry is for a Thomas Armitage to Martha Parker.

Glad you got them. I got as far as Armstrong - and that didn't look right anyway !
