I have in my family tree (I think :-\),Martha Hodgkiss m Francis Procte(o)r in 1841.  I think I have the records in my "shoebox!!".

BTW I think they had 4 children - Ellen, William, Daniel and Sarah

Hi. My grandmother was Alice May Hodgkiss. I have traced the family to the 1850s Wednesbury Cosely area. The last Hodgkiss trace I can find was Thomas. I think they came from Shropshire. Any relation do you think?

I have been checking all the posts hopine their information matched mine.
I have Mary Hodgkiss (1834), born in Dawley near Shifnal, Shropshire.  She died in 1891
She is my great grandmother.  I show Mary's parents as being Thomas Hodgkiss and
Margaret Powis.
