Searching for Patrick Kennedy c. 1896

Hello,

I'm looking for any info. on my grandfather Patrick (Paddy) Kennedy.  From his marriage cert. to an Edith Whibberley in Liverpool in 1926, I've calculated he was born between 2nd Jan 1896 and 1st Jan 1897.
I'm assured he was from Ireland and that some of his family wasn't far from Waterford .
From the marriage cert. his father was  John Kennedy, a soldier.

Any help is much appreciated

Hi,
Edith Whibberley was my 2nd cousin twice removed. I believe they had at least 2 children, Sylvia & Roy Kennedy.  Edith's parents were Samuel Whibberley b1872 Ashford in the Water Derbyshire and Edith Armson b1879 Leek Staffordshire.  They had five other children.

A possible 1901 return
1 Knockbrack, Dungarvan Rural,Waterford
Catherine Kennedy age 32 married ,farmer
Patrick son age 3
John Kane ,brother age 29
Michael Tobin 20,servant

no husband at home,if a soldier he would be enumerated on barrack form or overseas.
