I am researching family of PERKINS who arrived in Three Bridges, Worth, Sussex in about 1879. Two families arrived from Devon origins at that time and I do have information about some of the family members.
Henry Richard Perkins was married to Matilda(Hill) who died 1888/9. They had a son Edwin b. 1885 and who was living at home there in 1901.Theodore was born 1898, first child of Henry and Ellen (Cordrey) his second wife.
Henry was a railway engine driver and worked at Three Bridges depot between the mid 1880's and died and was buried in Worth 1926( home address was 30 Mill Road).
I would most interested to hear from anybody who has knowledge of Edwin b. 1885 or Theodore b. 1898 in Three Bridges.
