Hi Kerry, I've just had your site recommended to me and hope you can help. I'm trying to discover more about the death of THOMAS ETCHES who died in 1836 and was buried on the 6th November at St. Philip's Cathedral, Birmingham. He was 35 and a stonemason. If his death was accidental and as he was quite young I'm hoping that there is a coroner's report available.  Many thanks.

Infant daughter of James Knowles, Alcester, needlepointer, died of suffocation.
 

Depositions: Sarah Walker, Alcester, widow; William Haywood, Alcester, sexton; George Wyman, Alcester, surgeon; Jeremiah Spooner, Alcester, constable; Henry Overbury, Registrar of Births & Deaths; Elizabeth Hawkins, wife of William, Alcester, mason, mother of Mrs. Knowles.
Date:    17 April 1847
