Hi

Found this website this afternoon - www.urbanglasgow.co.uk - a fantastic resource for anyone interested in Glasgow past and present. Thousands of photos, links to free books on the area, too many resources to mention!!

It is quite something, I only lived in Glasgow for a few years in the early '80s but it is fascinating seeing how the places I thought I knew had/have changed. For native Glaswegians it must be even more poignant. I don't think Glasgow has necessarily been well served by social historians, certainly IMHO not as well as Edinburgh. (ducks and runs for cover!)
