I am not related but have some info that might be of interest.

All at St Martin, Kingsbury Episcopi.

Marriage;
MALACHI Seward to Ann PORTER 8 Feb 1783

Baptism;
JOHN Seward, Son of MARY, 25 Sept 1814 (base-born, Mother Spinster, abode Martock)

Burial;
ANN Seward age 70, 29 April 1827, abode Stembridge

****So looks like Mary Seward and John Row had a Child just before their Marriage 7 Nov 1814 in Martock.
**** Malachi Seward and Wife Ann nee Porter look like possible Parents for Mary Seward to me.

Very many thanks.  I am sure that you are correct.  'Malachi' reoccurs.  This John probably died in infancy, as a child from the subsequent marriage was also named John.

It seems that Malachi/Malachy was a very common Christian name for the Sewards, going from father to son, over many years.
