Robert Read Holdcroft Evanjobb

I am trying to find information on Robert Read Holdcroft and his wife Rosetta Wosencroft lived in Evanjobb in 1911. However, I can find no trace of either the death or their children Richard John Frank Holdcroft and Donna Holdcroft. Robert was a blacksmith in Evanjobb.

Any information helpful.

You have posted on the Radnor board but the family were in Kington Hereford in 1911

Donna was only 2 in 1911 and Richard only a few months old

If Donna married - you would have to establish her married name to find a death

Rosetta was  29 and Robert 24 in 1911

Where were Robert & Rosetta born

Do you have the marriage certificate I cannot see rossetta Wosencroft, but can see Robert Read Holdcroft Kingston 1908
have you found the childrens birth info? I dont see Rosetta birth in 1881 or 1882?

Did they emigrate as there is a Rosetta Holdcroft died 1940 in British Columbia but my subscription does not allow further access

Many thanks for your help. Robert Read Holdcroft was born in Shenstone, Staffordshire. At some point he moved to Evenjobb and set up a blacksmith forge in back lane. I have tried in vain to locate them after 1911 with no luck. I assumed they had moved away, possibly to another country. British Columbia looks interesting. His two sisters emigrated to Canada early 1900's. I will check that. Thanks.

There is an entry on Ancestors Onboard (paysite) for an R Holdcroft - female b 1883  leaving Liverpool in 1913 for Quebec which pretty much ties in with Rosetta's birth year.

It looks like there was a male Holdcroft b 1911 travelling with her which would fit for son Richard

However - nothing for "Donna" or Robert - but this was Donna's full name

There is a 1911 entry for a Rebecca Holdcroft b 1883 living in Liverpool but abode is shown as "Institution".  However - she married in the June qtr of 1911 in Liverpool

The 1911 index has no other female R Holdcroft apart from Rebecca & Rosetta
