Hi all,
I have in my possession an autograph book given to my brother by my uncle in law whom I believe was interned in the Tintown No. 1 camp, Curragh in 1923. The book contains messages and sayings from the detainees.
Among those who signed are the following:-
J. Togher, Ballina, Co. Mayo
S. Corcoran, Balla.
B. Brady, Drumcarn
Michael naBeaghre
M. Ferguson
Michael McCoy, Listowel, Co. Kerry
Muiris O Conchubhair, Listowel, Co. Kerry.
Dan Kelly, Beechwood, Roscommon
Thomas F. Healy, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo
Myles King, Westport, Co. Mayo
Michael Collins, Carrabawn, Clonbur, Co. Galway.
Michael Carrabine, Main St. Belmullet, Mayo
Seamus De Burca,
Jim McHugh, Galway
W.J. Hande, Tuam, Co. Galway (Ballanacill?)
Tomás O' Suileabháin. 4th Battallion. Waterford.
D. O'Mahony.
Michael Fuller. Lixnaw, Co. Kerry
Liam Meachair. Co. Dublin
J. Flynn. Waterford.
Micheal O'Longáin. Ballyglunin, Co. Galway.
Pádraig O'Mea
Tom Quigley. Batt 2, 2nd Western Division.
D. Cullen
Georgie Giles. Waterford.
Mattie Flannery. Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo
John Reidy. Liscnaw, Co. Kerry.
M. (Mac) (G.) Rory
E. McGrath
P. Power (Hare Park, Kilkenny)

This book belonged to my uncle in law Peader Cummins, late of Waterford, who was interned during that period. The dates are signed from July to October 1923. Comments are welcome.

Just to say that due to the handwriting there may be some errors in the spelling of the names and places.

I was very interested to come across the Curragh Camp detainees.    Is there any more you can tell me about Michael Fuller, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry?   I believe he is a relative of mine.
