The family lived in Helmside near Stainton in 1841 and all are shown as born in Westmorland

Thanks very much Jen.Seems like a good possibility.They have my ggg grandmother Hannah T born c 1790 with them in1841 and she's not born in county so I might be able to find her birth now.

Do you have her in any other census, on which she might give her place of birth? I can look for her if you like. When and whom did she marry.

She never married.
In 1851 she is with her son in Kendal as a visitor and her birth place is given as Grayriigg the same as her grandchildren.
In 1856 she dies in Blackburn age 68.I only got her death cert yesterday. I have a post on Lancashire asking if anyone can look up who was living at 42 Mary Ann St Blackburn in 1851 where she died or 6 back Mary Ann St (where her son lived in 1861) No luck on that but I did find a possible birth on IGI for Maryport in 1789.Am about to look for a John T born around Maryport.
