I cant find a Baptism for Elizabeth Waters/Warters but I may have found some info on her Father James.

Marriage;
1 Mar 1838, All Saints, Freethorpe
HENRY Waters, Bachelor, Brickmaker, Father JAMES, Brickmaker**
MARIA Waters, Spinster, Dressmaker, Father ROBERT, Mole Catcher
Witnesses, Mary Ann Waters/John Springall
Groom Full Age Bride Full Age


Baptism same Church;
HENRY Waters, 8 May 1814, Parents JAMES/FRANCES Waters nee KIBETT

James/Frances married 9 Oct 1804 same Church

James was buried 22 Apr 1853 age 80, note Of The Brickground

1851 Census James was born c 1773 Reedham, Norfolk.

Thanks Trish, both you and Peter have given me some info that I hadn't got. Hopefully if I can just tie in the widowed father, William, I think the jigsaw may fit. :)

Unfortunately I have a William Waters b 1753 who had a son William b 1777 in Lingwood (he married Ann Curll and I saw one of the witnesses in this thread was a Curll) and he had two sons called William one born 1808 who only survived a few days and the other born 1812. there are just too many Williams in my tree!!!
