Jones family help please

Hi

I am trying to research my grandfather's family, and have hit a brick wall..... all help appreciated

Mr ? JONES  married  Miss ? ROBERTS, and had he following children ;-

Arthur Edward JONES, born 1914 ( reg in Carnarvon) ( i think this is gramps!)
Jack w ( whitty ?) JONES born 1916 ( reg in Weymouth)
Twins Peter and Peggy JONES born 1918 ( reg in Weymouth )
Richard Kenneth JONES born 1921 ( Reg in Weymouth)

The family moved to Swindon before 190, but I know very little except that Peter married Hilda Clements in 1941.

You'll need to get the birth cert of at least one of those kids to get any further.
The marriage cert of any of them would give a father's forename.

I think you need to buy a copy of one of the childrens birth certs to get the parents full christian names

As you will already have discovered by searching freebmd - there are lots of Jones/Roberts marriages

Hi,
I am Keith Jones, and the son of Richard Kenneth Jones. He married Sylvia Biddlecombe, and died in 1996. Sylvia still lives in Weymouth.
Your grandfather, Arthur Edward Jones (Ted), married Eileen, and had three children: Pat, Sue and Gail. Ted re-married Rose, and has since died.
Peter Jones married Hilda, and had two children: Brian and Phillip.
Jack Jones travelled extensively, finally died in Auckland, New Zealand (never married)
Peggy Jones also never married.

I am very sorry but the member foxjohnson has not been replying to any of their topics.  I have been intouch again to see if I can sort out any problems but now I see there is possibly a problem with their email address currently They were logged in only last week, hopefully after reading my pm they may get back in touch.
