Roberts, Oswestry

I am interested in  the family of David Robert and Emily Frances Morris who were married May 13, 1889, in Oswestry. David Roberts was the Parish Overseer for Oswestry. David and Emily had (at least) three children - all born in Oswestry: Arthur (born circa 1891); Emily May (born circa 1893) and Ernest Cyril (born circa 1901). In 1921, Emily Frances Morris died in Liverpool, and David Roberts married a second time - his second wife being Ada Mary Jones of Kinnerley, Shropshire. As it turns out, Ada Mary Jones was a first cousin to David Roberts' first wife, Emily Frances Morris. Emily being the daughter of Fanny Morris (nee Halfyard) and Ada Mary Jones being the daughter of Jessie Maria Jones (nee Halfyard). Fanny and Jessie Maria Halfyard were sisters, hailing originally from Topsham, Devon. I look forward to being contacted by anyone researching the above family or any descendant of David and Emily Frances Roberts.

Cheers  ;)
