Hey Marlene,  Today I looked at the Riseley burials transcripts for 1848-1850 and all they show is Name, Abode, Date, Age, & Who by...  There is no info like what is the earlier transcripts, such as cause of death or any relationships, such as son of..., wife of...  ; and yes there are quite a lot of burials for these years, not just those  on your list. So sorry cannot be of any help...

BTW David sends his regards; he was making a flying visit to the Archives this afternoon,,

What a pity - there were some gems!
No idea about the Fairy Book - been busy with 7 other gt grandies & their rather large families of late!

The William Young who married Ann White on 3/10/1803 & had children Charles, Samuel & John amongst others; was christened 1/6/1777 Bletsoe, son of William Young & Alice Sier. These two married 11/10/1774 at Bletsoe & Alice died & was buried 5/5/1783.  William then married Barbara Hart on 3/8/1784 at Bletsoe and had more children including a Thomas Hart Young on 20/9/1789. 

Hi all - re the above; I have linked back to William Young (m Alice Sier then Barbara Hart) - but am really struggling to find (a) when/where William born/died and his parents' details.....any help very welcome..... not sure if connected but also in Bletsoe have a Jos Young (d1663) and Elizabeth Young (d1663) but have not found anything between this date and William & Alice above so do not know if connected

Any help very much welcomed....

I have burial of William Young at Bletsoe on 25 Oct 1815 aged 64 - so born about 1751, but have no info as to his parents.
