Searching for the parents of Patrick Fleming, born 1857 in Aghamore. He married in Sculcoates in 1883 and had a brother James, born 1861 who also married in Sculcoates.I would value any information on this family.

Hello,

the marriage certificates would tell you their fathers' name which may help you to trace the family in Ireland.
Griffiths valuation has some Flemings in Aghamore parish.

The father of Patrick and James was also a Patrick.James was born in Kilkelley.I think their mother may have been Ellen Cunniff, but I need verification.

Many thanks!

As you will know, civil registration didn't begin until 1864 in Ireland and your two men were born before then.
Presumably, you have the possible parents from other records. I see Patrick and Ellen in 1901 and 1911 which indicates that they had quite a number of children but of course that is of no help.
Online records show that Aghamore Parish records only begin 1864 too - that is online and Family Search.  :(
Searching online does show those two people as a couple in Baptisms post 1864 so other than that, I can't think of anything to help. Sorry.  :-\
I know it doesn't prove anything at all, but did either Patrick or James call any daughters Ellen?
