Hi Martin! How brilliant! I am Maisie's ( nee Holdcroft) daughter. My year of birth 1956. I remember my aunts & uncles, I loved my grandad Frank ( think he liked the horses!) he had a good job as a civil servant.Do you know if John Holdcroft was Frank's father?
Carol :-)

Hi Carole
John Holdcroft is six generations back from you and eight generations back, John was born in circa 1742. John was a labourer in Hints Staffordshire, cannot seem to get any further. I could send a family tree but I don't have your email and I don't want send it via Roots.

Kind Regards

Martin

Hi Carol,

Sorry to hear your sad news, it's always hard to hear another twig has fallen of our tree. Being away on holiday hence the late reply. Hope all goes well when you scatter his ashes. Hope you are still researching the family tree.

Kind regards

Martin
