Laurencekirk burials
« on: Thursday 29 April 10 18:00 BST (UK) »
Hi

Can someone please tell me where people who lived in Laurencekirk were buried in the late 1880s-1890s?

Thanks in anticipation ...

They would have been buried at the local cemetery.  There is also an Episcopal cemetery.
The Aberdeen & N.E. Family History Society have transcribed the memorials at the former but as yet, the booklet is unpublished.
Have a look at the websites:

My apologies. I mistyped part of the website.  To get the full benefit of the site go to:-

myweb.tiscali.co.uk/nescotland

This will take you to the website which is headed  'NE Scotland Genealogy'.  In the menus on the left of the pages click Graveyards/Kincardineshire/Laurencekirk.  It's a wonderful website operated by Colin A. Milne who is prepared to take photos of gravestones.
