Crocker / Leat - Jersey Marriage

I am also a descendant of Solomon Crocker (he's my great great great grandfather) and I can confirm he did indeed end up in hospital as during my research I stumbled across this newspaper article. I know this is an old thread so you might not see this or you might have seen it already but it's interesting none the less!

I'm currently trying to find the marriage details of Solomon Crocker and Elizabeth Brée. Their eldest child George Solomon was two months old at the time of the 1851 census and they were living in Saint Martin where he was born. Elizabeth was from Grouville. That would suggest they were married in roughly 1850.  Solomon was sentenced to 90 days hard labour in Dorchester prison on 27th June 1848 so the very earliest he could have arrived in Jersey would be October 1848. Even assuming a speedy courtship that would suggest they were married in 1849 or 1850.
