wright( Elvey/Glasslough)
« on: Thursday 06 May 10 19:38 BST (UK) »
Can some one please help with information. On the latest LDS sites I found Mary Wright  B. 5/10/1867 Glasslough - Martha Jane Wright B 10/11/1869 Glassough. and other Wight siblings born in Elvey & Glasslough are they one and same place. Taking a leap of faith I believe that the Martha Wright could be my Grt G/mother Mary Ellen Gibson as the witness to her wedding was Martha Wright and her father William Wright(a farmer) according UHF.The date of birth etc all seem to be close.Only thing is that the father William married a Margaret Davidson in Killeshil Tyrone 5/3/1863 Would anybody have any information on these Wrights Mary Ellen was married in Belfast 1889 the address just given 49  Victoria Terrace ? Any assistance appreciated

Thanks for help these Wrights are the only ones I have come up with through LDS site especially William being farmer & father the only problem is that Mary does not appear to have the Ellen in her name

If information is sent by PM it does make it difficult for anyone trying to help figure out what's been found, etc. (although details of living people, email addresses, recent family details shouldn't be posted here so in those cases PM is best).
Usually best to post on the boards, as it lets us know exactly what information has been sent and what is still required.  It will also help others who come across this thread via a search engine - which just might bring a relative to help out!

Just caught up on your message re Wrights of Elvey in Co Monaghan Ireland
I am privileged to have the Wright connection of North Monaghan / S Tyrone on my FTM and maybe can be of assistance. The names you mention certainly ring bells quite harmoniously; in fact, Margaret Wright (nee Davidson) is my  Great Grandmother.
Do please contact me.
Sincerely
