Thomas COOPER

Hi

I have a problem which I hope somebody may be able to help me with please.  It concerns a Thomas COOPER (bap 1778 Oakham).  He is supposedly a sibling of my g-g-g-grandmother Sarah COOPER (bap 1776 Oakham) children of Francis COOPER & Mary FREEMAN.  Recently I have obtained some research conducted a number of years ago that shows another Thomas COOPER (bap 1778 Oakham) the son of Joseph COOPER & Elizabeth OSBORNE.

Thomas went on to marry a Mary and had a number of children of which one was Joseph who married Sarah LOVE.

So what I would like to find out is, is the Thomas COOPER who was the father of Joseph the son of Francis COOPER & Mary FREEMAN and brother of Sarah.

I hope firstly you can understand that and secondly someone may be able to help!

The IGI carries these extracted records of children born to Francis Cooper and Mary all Baptist, Oakham.

1776 Sarah 19.7
1778 Thomas 20.4
1780 Mary 16.7
1783 John 16.7
1785 Ann 27.11
1788 Joseph 29.8
1792 Francis 1.6

The other couple Joseph and Elizabeth, I cant find any other children on the IGI born to these expect Thomas  1778 29.10

So what I would like to find out is, is the Thomas COOPER who was the father of Joseph the son of Francis COOPER & Mary FREEMAN and brother of Sarah.

Thats I dont know
