Martin and Horwood Families
« on: Sunday 09 May 10 20:40 BST (UK) »
I am still, after a delay of several months, still trying to locate my fathers family of Martin, from Luton. and my mothers family of Horwood also from Luton. I know I have quite a few cousins out there somewhere, can anyone help??

If you're looking for living relatives you'd be better off with GenesReunited

If that's not what you want can you let us know what it is you need, with details like names and dates.

18 months ago you said that you'd ordered your father's birth cert. Was it of any help?

David

I am after past and present family. Was it really as long ago as 18 months?? No the certificate only told me what I already knew.
I think I will need to go the next step to try and obtain my grandfathers birth certificate.

   Nice to be remembered   ;o)

I am part of this Martin family from Luton, including the one child born in South Shields, and would be pleased to hear from you.

To mcsearcher...I am sorry I have been lax in replying to your e-mail ref Martin family. I am 83 and find time flies fast  :(
I am intrigued though about your connection with my family Martin, would you care to enlarge on that?

To Joyous-
I have a copy of your grandfather's birth certificate.  Just trying to lay my hands on it.
I believe bedfordshire boy has pegged the correct family.

Hi again, it's Joyce Wilkinson nee Martin, I lost touch with you owing to AOL not helping me to remember the password for my previous Email address. Quite by chance, clearing out some old correspondence, today, came across a copy of your query in Rootschat.  I hope you are still with them so you can answer this e-mail. Waiting in anticipation.....Joyce
