I have William Bell, born about 1806 in Middlebie, who married Janet Thom(p)son )born about 1810 in Middlebie).  The marriage was in Annan, about 1831.  I am still guessing about William's parents and Janet's also.

I have done very extensively family research work on The Bell Families of Dumfries County and also on another Bell Family, Arkinholme, near Langhorn ,Scotland , as well as in Northern Ireland dating back to the 15th and into the 17th Centuries too. Here are my findings-- Archibald Bell-Born, 1594,Arkinholme,near Langhorn, Dumfries County,Scotland, Died 1688, Armagh ,Armagh County, Northern Ireland. His marriage was to Ann Yuruns--Born,1595,Died, 1625
My Great-Grandmother's Grandfather, William Bell--Born on August 12th, 1758, Moygashel ,Tyrone
County, Northern Ireland, Died on March 28th, 1833, First Concession of Thurlow Township, East of Belleville, Ontario, Hastings County, Canada. He was descendant from this family mentioned here.
